About this Event
Fresno County Department of Public Health-Nursing: Perinatal Equity Initiative (PEI) has partnered with BrainWise Soultions to bring a 2-day training session for parents and caregivers to learn about trauma-informed care, what it looks like, and how it can strengthen families and build resilience.

Childcare is provided by BLACK Wellness & Prosperity Center.
In this training you will:
- Receive tips on how to boost your child's growing brain.
- Learn how caring events can lower the effects of past trauma.
- Learn to identify the signs of stress to better help your child with their emotional needs.
- Connect with other caregivers who share the same committment to raise and empower children.
- Gain skills and information to build a supportive and loving home.
- Build wisdom for giving care that respects who you are and your experiences.
- Learn how to boost your child's strengths and increase their chances of thriving in today's world.
