Regulate the Nervous System.
Deepen Clinical Presence.
Expand Your Therapeutic Toolkit.
Breath is one of the fastest and most direct ways to influence the autonomic nervous system , yet in trauma work, it must be applied with precision, discernment, and advanced clinical awareness.
This advanced experiential training is designed for clinicians who already understand polyvagal theory and trauma-informed care and are ready to refine how they use breathwork in real time. We move beyond theory into nuanced, state-specific application.
You will learn how to strategically apply breathwork through a polyvagal lens to support clients experiencing anxiety, dissociation, dorsal shutdown, trauma activation, and relational distress, without overwhelming protective defenses or reinforcing dysregulation patterns.
This is not cathartic breathwork.

This is not introductory nervous system education.
This is clinical, regulated, polyvagal-informed breath as a sophisticated therapeutic intervention.
In This Advanced Training You Will Learn To:
✔ Refine real-time tracking of the vagal brake, HRV, and subtle autonomic shifts

✔ Precisely match breath interventions to hyperarousal, hypoarousal, and ventral integration

✔ Apply advanced breath protocols with clear contraindication awareness and trauma sensitivity

✔ Integrate breath seamlessly into EMDR, EFT, ACT, somatic, and relational psychotherapy

✔ Expand clients’ window of tolerance without overriding adaptive defenses

✔ Strengthen your own nervous system regulation and therapeutic presence
This Training Is For:
Licensed & Pre-Licensed Clinicians

Therapists & Counselors

Social Workers & Psychologists

EMDR & Couples Therapists

Somatic & Yoga Therapists

Trauma-Informed Practitioners
This training assumes foundational knowledge of trauma and nervous system theory and is intended for providers seeking deeper clinical integration.
