Katherine Ambrose
Katherine Ambrose is a nationally recognized senior move specialist and media host who helps people navigate life transitions at the intersection of home, aging, family, and purpose—with clarity, confidence, and humanity.
With decades of experience in housing and senior transitions, she specializes in downsizing, relocation, and aging-in-place decisions, guiding families through complex and emotional choices without fear-based messaging or outdated stereotypes about aging. She is the Founder of Senior Home Coach™, a national professional community equipping professionals and families to make better housing decisions earlier.
In 2018, Katherine pivoted to dedicate her career exclusively to serving older adults through education and media. She launched the Empowered Senior seminar series at Botanica Wichita in 2019, which evolved into the PBS Kansas television series Empowering Seniors, now in its sixth season with more than 100 episodes aired statewide. The initiative now operates as Empowering Seniors Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Katherine is the host of the nationally syndicated daily talk show Aging Untold and a longtime public television producer, bringing real conversations about aging, independence, and caregiving into homes across the country. She serves on the Editorial Journal Board of Directors for the Society of Certified Senior Advisors and the Education Committee for the National Aging in Place Council, and is a recipient of national Service to Seniors awards.
Kate Mast
Kate Mast is a Clean-Out Coach located in Wichita, KS. Through her business, Soft Spaces, Kate helps people clean out stressful, emotionally charged spaces in their homes with energetic, collaborative, hands-on support.
Drawing from her background in nursing and sociology, she is passionate about encouraging “intentional stuff management” across all life stages and helping people reflect on the tender work of sorting through our stuff and stories. Her work is relational, practical, and grounded in self-compassion.
Outside of her work as a Clean-Out Coach, Kate is a multi-passionate creative who loves sewing, writing, cardmaking, gardening, and spending time with her sweet husband, Ross.
