About this Event
Help remove trash from the marsh near Marina Towers on the Mount Vernon Trail.
Volunteers may perform some of the following work:
- Picking up trash
What to Bring:
- Water
- Gloves (We'll have some to borrow)
- Long sleeves and long pants
- Boots if you have them as it might be muddy
Where to Meet:
The work area is on the Mount Vernon Trail in the marsh near Marina Towers. We will be meeting further north on the trail since there is more space to set up equipment. See picture below for directions.

Parking:
You can park on Slaters Lane and walk approxinately 0.2 miles to the meeting site on the trail.
Group Volunteering:
We welcome groups to come volunteer at our events. If you plan on having more than 20 people come on a particular weekend, just let us know via email ([email protected]) no less than one week prior to the day of the event so we can better prepare supplies and promote your group’s attendance on social media.
