About this Event
This full-day professional workshop delivers a comprehensive, hands-on learning experience focused on translating biomechanical assessment data into practical product configuration solutions.
Through guided instruction, interactive simulations, and collaborative group practice, participants will develop proficiency in interpreting the Mechanical Assessment Tool (MAT).
What to Expect:
Practical Application: Engage in simulated postural presentations and restricted lower-limb range of movement to observe, measure, and analyse functional changes in real time.
Advanced Assessment Skills: Work with non-reducible postural presentations to identify bony landmarks and establish accurate starting points for measurements in real-world scenarios.
Clinical Relevance: Understand the most meaningful MAT measures, their significance in clinical and product contexts, and how to apply these insights to optimize configuration and trial outcomes.
Key Learning Objectives:
- Enhanced confidence in performing the MAT assessment on restricted ROM presentations
- Interpret MAT findings to guide decision-making, including advanced clinical presentations such as asymmetric limited hip flexion and wind-swept hip distortion.
- Improve functional results and client outcomes through optimized product configuration.
