This small group, hands-on skills development session is designed for people who are leading or interested in learning how to lead community initiatives. Up to 12 places available.
What is the cost?
Thanks to funding support from Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) there is no cost to attend. Resources, refreshments and light lunch will be provided.
Why is this happening in Koondrook?
Led by the Australian Centre for Rural Entrepreneurship and co-hosted by Gannawarra Shire Council, this skills development session is the next stage of ‘Lead a new future for your community’, a program designed to support economic diversification planning in communities affected by Victoria’s transition away from native timber harvesting in State forests, including Koondrook connect and support emerging leaders, building on and activating strategies developed by innovation working groups across northern Victoria, foster connection, unlock thinking, develop leadership capabilities, and encourage action.
