Transkribathon
This full-day event is an opportunity to learn the basics of Transkribus - the state of the art AI-powered tool for handwritten and printed text recognition. The workshop will be delivered by Dario Kampkaspar and Kevin Kuck (Technical University Darmstadt) who are Transkribus experts and have contributed to its development. Through demonstrations and hands-on practice, you will learn how to use the tool to automatically transcribe text images, add layers of analysis, and develop ways of sharing your transcriptions. If you're already working with Transkribus, bring your project and work on it during our Transkribathon, with an opportunity to ask questions and share your experience with the experts.
