Transgender Day of Remembrance is an annual observance on November 20 that honors the memory of the transgender people whose lives were lost that year in acts of anti-transgender violence. The City of Louisville will be observing this tradition this year by gathering at 6pm on Thursday, November 20 in Memory Square Park for a community vigil. We invite the members of the transgender community and their allies in Louisville and Boulder County to join us in this act of recognition. The vigil will take place at the gazebo in Memory Square Park. We will have hot chocolate and cider to keep warm.
