Part of the International Festival of Arts and Ideas Summit Day. Join us as we explore how we embody concepts of gender is changing in 2024. We will explore how creative gender casting reflects today’s reality, illuminates Shakespeare’s stories, and enriches everyone’s experience. Join Portland, Oregon's Original Practice Shakespeare Festival Artistic Director and Trans rights activist Jennifer Lanier with other national leaders to discuss the emerging practice of non-traditional casting and how it enhances today's theatre.
