About this Event
Dr. Murtaza Adam, vitreoretinal specialist at Colorado Retina Associates and EyePoint Pharmaceuticals, invites local eye care providers to an educational dinner on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at 6:00 PM at Sushi Den restuaurant in the Platt Park neighborhood of Denver. This event offers a unique opportunity for optometrists and ophthalmologists to learn more about innovative, novel treatment options for wet age-related macular degeneration (wet AMD).
Dr. Adam will discuss Eyepoint's Phase 3 clinical trial, LUCIA, which is actively enrolling participants. The trial focuses on Duravyu, a novel sustained-release therapy designed to reduce the injection treatment burden by delivering vorolanib, a selective tyrosine kinase inhibitor. Dr. Adam will also explore how this potentially more durable therapy for wet AMD can help reduce rates of under-treatment and irreversible vision loss in patients, potentially changing the landscape for this common condition.
This event is open to licensed, practicing eye care providers- optometrists and ophtalmologists only. Limited capacity, RSVP required. Please note, NO CE credit will be issued for attendance, this is an educational opportunity only. Coursed dinner included with admission.
