The new edition of Transeuropa takes place in Venice and presents a rich schedule of events prepared in cooperation with local partners in the city. The programme will consist of performances, exhibitions, open assemblies, screenings, debates, workshops and community events.
Under the theme UNDERCURRENTS, TRANSEUROPA 2024 invites participants to explore, imagine and create the multiple and growing undercurrents of change of today and tomorrow. Building on ecofeminist and decolonial theory, the festival investigates and celebrates prospects of a world geared towards new relationships among humans, species and natural elements. To push against a seeming apocalyptic tide, the Festival joins activists, artists, intellectuals and citizens to reinforce common strategies to go towards better futures.

La nuova edizione di Transeuropa si svolge a Venezia e presenta un ricco palinsesto di eventi preparati in collaborazione con i partner locali della città. Il programma sarà composto da spettacoli, mostre, assemblee aperte, proiezioni, dibattiti, workshop ed eventi comunitari.
All'insegna del tema UNDERCURRENTS, TRANSEUROPA 2024 invita i partecipanti ad esplorare, immaginare e creare le molteplici e crescenti correnti di cambiamento dell'oggi e del domani. Basandosi sulla teoria ecofemminista e decoloniale, il festival indaga e celebra le prospettive di un mondo orientato verso nuove relazioni tra esseri umani, specie ed elementi naturali. Per contrastare una marea apparentemente apocalittica, il Festival unisce attivisti, artisti, intellettuali e cittadini per rafforzare strategie comuni con l'intento di virare verso futuri migliori.
