Transatlantic Race 2025.The Transatlantic Race 2025 kicks off on June 18, 2025, starting from Newport, Rhode Island and finishing off Cowes, England. Covering approximately 3,000 miles, this iconic race is organised by the New York Yacht Club and the Royal Ocean Racing Club, with support from the Royal Yacht Squadron and the Storm Trysail Club.
With a virtual gate at Lizard Point for record attempts and a finish line at the Royal Yacht Squadron in Cowes, it’s a true test of endurance and seamanship. This year’s race also marks the 100th anniversary of RORC, adding extra prestige to an already legendary event.
