Welcome to Newport Jazz Age Weekend, a tribute to the music and fashion of the 1920's-50's! Hosted by the Greater Boston Vintage Society this event takes place at 3 Gilded Age estates owned by Salve Regina University. For 2025, we are changing format and location from past years. We are now further down Ruggles Ave right next to the Breakers Mansion! To go along with this year's collegiate theme, instead of a nighttime ball, we are having a "Homecoming Lawn Party Picnic" with live jazz during the day and an "Ice Cream Social" on Saturday night (with an open bar!). This event will finally give us vintage collectors a use for that old varsity sweater and beanie cap. We are also planning some new outings including a guided tour of Belcourt Mansion and a cruise to Rose Island Lighthouse for a vintage beach party. So come join us as we "give it the old college try"!
