About this Event
Join us during Trans+ History Week (May 05 – 11) as we reflect on what wisdom we can draw from to help guide us today during an evening of community as we celebrate our history.
We’ll be joined by some very special guests for a live podcast recording and by some of our commissioned community members who have produced this year’s stories.

About Trans+ History Week:
Trans+ History Week is a week-long reflective period to learn and celebrate the momentous and millennia-old history of transgender, non-binary, gender-diverse and Intersex people.
6th May - Trans+ History Day - always falls during Trans+ History Week as it marks the day the Nazis raided the world’s first trans clinic and four days later burned the precious research.
This event also takes place during the VE Day 80th commemorations. In this year’s workbook, we in particular want to reflect on Roberta Cowell’s contribution as a Second World War fighter pilot.
It's in the week they tried to erase us that we choose to remember.
Trans+ History Week is a launchpad project and a not-for-profit led by a passionate team of volunteers. Download & view the Trans+ History Week 2025 Workbook .
