It is time to show our love for the Madison Trail Runners’ (MTR) home base, the UW-Madison Arboretum! Join MTR and the UW-Arboretum restoration team for a super fun, worthwhile ecological restoration work party at the UW-Madison Arboretum on Saturday Oct. 19. The 2nd annual Trailbuildingfest is a fun-filled event with a sunrise trail run, fall foliage views, rewarding restoration work, and an afternoon picnic and paddle.Our noble restoration work party will help nurture the ecology habitat that surrounds the wonderful trails of the south Arboretum’s Grady Tract. Friendly Arboretum staff provide all the equipment and hands-on training needed
What to Bring:
Wear long pants, sturdy shoes, work gloves, and seasonally appropriate clothing for restoration work
Bring a water bottle
Bring a side food item/drinks to share at the picnic
Bring a lawn chair for the picnic
Bring (or borrow) a SUP, kayak, or canoe for paddle
