Join us for TrailBlaze Family Adventure Day on Saturday, June 6 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Kimball Pines Park for a fun-filled day outdoors. Families can enjoy a Story Walk from Battle Creek’s Willard Library, guided hikes on the trail, and a variety of family-friendly activities including a bounce house, games, and activities for kids. Local nonprofits will also be on site sharing information and resources.TrailBlaze Family Adventure Day, brought to you by Ford, is a chance for families and individuals to get outside and experience the beauty of Calhoun County’s parks and trails. Taking place on National Trails Day, this event is part of a nationwide celebration of the trails that connect our communities and provide opportunities for recreation, wellness, and exploration.
Bring a lunch for a picnic or your bike or roller blades and join us for a fun time outside. Proceeds from TrailBlaze support the ongoing maintenance and improvement of the Calhoun County Trailway, helping ensure this community resource can be enjoyed for years to come.
Make a day of it! Immediately following TrailBlaze, head over to the Taste of Battle Creek from 2 to 9 p.m. at Festival Market Square to enjoy great food, local vendors, and more community fun.
