About this Event
We are convening all ghosts and ghouls, witches and warlocks, at Little Deer Creek Trail for BYLT's annual Trail or Treat Halloween event! Come in your most spooktacular costume for the costume contest and photo booth, then trick or treat your way along the trail for candy, hot cider and popcorn, and Halloween themed arts and crafts.

3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
How: This is a free family-friendly event, all ages are welcome, though we do ask that you RSVP so we have an idea of how many people are attending.
Day of Event: Please check in at the Welcome Booth set up in the Pioneer Park parking lot by the tennis courts which is located on Nimrod Street near the intersection of Park Avenue and directly across from Little Deer Creek Trail trailhead. (Note that Pioneer Park has several parking lots, and the Park's official address of 421 Nimrod Street will take you to the parking lot further up the street.)
Parking: Parking in the Pioneer Park parking lot on Nimrod Street will be limited, though street parking is available. Parking is also available in the Pioneer Park Lower parking lot located on Park Avenue.
ABOUT LITTLE DEER CREEK TRAIL: The Little Deer Creek Trail trailhead at Pioneer Park marks the beginning of the Historic Downtown section of the Deer Creek Tribute Trail System. This trail follows the creek to the bottom of Broad Street, where it continues on the city sidewalk. The trail connects to the Nisenan Bridge section via the Jordan Street and Miners Foundry trailheads. Little Deer Creek Trail is sponsored by Elevation in Nevada City, whose employees are committed to maintaining the trail on an ongoing basis.
