Trail Mix Adventure: Long Creek + Osprey Loop (5 Miles) 🥾🌊🌿📅 When: Saturday, April 11th @ 9:00 AM.
📍 Where: First Landing State Park (64th Street entrance), Virginia Beach, VA.
🅿️ Meet-up spot: Parking lot just past the ranger booth on the right.
⏰ End time: Around 11:30 AM (2–2.5 hours).
🚗 Parking tip: The lot is very small and fills up quickly. It is best to park outside the park on Atlantic Avenue (free street parking) and walk in via 64th Street.
🧭 Directions: Driving north on Atlantic Avenue → turn left onto 64th Street to reach the entrance.
🥾 Route: Long Creek Trail (moderate rolling hills) + Osprey Trail (flat and sandy).
🌲 Terrain: Roots, trees, sand, and uneven sections.
🐶 Dogs: Welcome (please bring water).
👧🧒 Kids: Older kids are welcome.
🚫🍼 No strollers: Trails are rooty, sandy, and uneven.
⚠️ This is a fitness-focused hike with a steady pace. We will keep moving and aim to stay together as a group. Socializing is a bonus, but movement is the priority.
