About this Event
Learn how to design and install rain gardens that manage stormwater and support native ecosystems!
Join us at Eliza Howell Park for a hands-on course where you will learn how to assess sites, select plants, and install a functioning rain garden. This course combines practical skills with real-world application, giving you the opportunity to help build a rain garden in the park.
Participants who complete the full series will earn a Rain Garden Certification and leave with the knowledge and confidence to apply these skills in their own communities.
Workshops will take place at Eliza Howell Park at Pavilion #1. Sessions will begin on time, and participants must attend all workshops to receive a certificate of completion.
This course is offered free of charge by Huron Clinton Metroparks.
