Trail Cleanup at the Guadalupe River Park - Third Saturday

Please note that the minimum age to volunteer for this event is 10 years old. Adult chaperones are required to attend with individuals age 15 and under. In addition, we required all individuals under 18 years old to have a guardian read and sign our Volunteer Service Agreement form. You may email an electronic copy to [email protected] prior or bring a hard copy day of the event. The Volunteer Service Agreement is attached .

Come help us spruce up the River Park! Our Trail Cleanups are a great opportunity to beautify the grounds of the park and give a little love to the planet.

We will meet at Monopoly in the Park located in Discovery Meadow, adjacent to the Children's Discovery Museum and VTA Light Rail Station. Parking is available at the Almaden/Woz Lot, the Almaden Blvd. Garage, and other adjacent garages, surface parking lots, and streets.

Volunteers are asked to arrive by 9:00 AM for a contactless sign-in; workday instructions will follow and we will begin our walking cleanup shortly after. We provide all necessary tools for the cleanup as well as disposable gloves. The workday will run through 11:00 AM, or when it gets too hot to work outside (seasonal). We are unable to accommodate drop-ins if the event is sold out. School groups and corporate teams must contact the Volunteer Coordinator in advance to schedule events.

In addition, please note that:

• Restrooms will not be readily available during the clean up, as we will be walking through the park
• A drinking fountain is onsite, though we highly encourage you to bring a full, reusable water bottle
• Closed-toed shoes and clothes you are comfortable getting dirty are essential
• We highly recommend wearing sunscreen and bringing a hat
• Inclement weather may cancel this event; we will contact you should conditions require the event to be postponed
