What kind of wildlife do you have right in your backyard? Whether you live in rural Northeast Kingdom or Barre, wildlife is all around us!Our presenter is a professor, ecologist and field biologist who uses trail cameras to study the 19 (and counting) mammal species found on his campus and at Chittenden county sites. Expect to learn how, where, and when to set trail cameras for maximum success. The presenter will also share the very best wildlife images that he and his students have captured and the ecosystem benefits of a diverse mammalian community, including a healthy predator population. This presentation will have a special focus on bobcats and their ecology.
