About this Event
This event is organized by Traditions in Motion, a student-led, non-profit, community fundraiser.
This project brings together students who share a passion for cultural arts to perform a traditional Lion Dance and other cultural artforms while raising funds for LeeCaring Communities, a non-profit long-term care organization that supports seniors in Edmonton.
Lion Dance is a cultural performance that represents good fortune, prosperity, and celebration, and that is exactly what inspired this event. Our team wants to use something meaningful to me not just as a performance, but as a way to give back.
LeeCaring’s programs focus on dignity, connection, and quality of life, which are values that align strongly with this project. All ticket proceeds and donations from this event will go directly toward supporting senior programs and resources at LeeCarings.
Thank you for helping us turn culture into community impact.
