Join Métis Crossing’s Elder and Knowledge Holder to learn how to create your own traditional vest. Over two days, you will be guided through the process of crafting a traditional Métis melton vest. You’ll learn to cut, sew, and decorate your vest using Métis techniques like beadwork, hair tufting, appliqué, ribbon work, or embroidery.
Whether you’re a beginner or experienced in sewing, this workshop is designed for everyone! The minimum age limit is 12.
