Each hour includes:

• 30 minutes with a local trades employer (career paths, wages, how to get hired)
• 20 minutes of financial literacy from F&M Bank
• 10-minute break to network, grab a snack, and connect with Merge Opportunities staff and win prizes in an opportunity drawing.

Who it’s for:

Young adults (18-26yr) exploring careers in construction, electrical, or plumbing, especially those facing barriers to employment (foster care, reentry, recovery, etc.), plus any community partners who support them.

You’ll leave with:

• Clear steps to get started in the trades
• A better understanding of banking, budgeting, and credit
• Connections to Merge Opportunities for ongoing support and job placement
