92 Years of Paradise! (1934-2026)In honnor of Vic Bergeron!
Victor Jules Bergeron was the ambassador of the exotic taste to mid-century America. Ushering in the heyday of the Tiki period in the 50s, Trader Vic offered a cornucopia of tempting tidbits and atmospheric environs, many of which were new and exciting to Americans. At the time, people were developing a curiosity to foreign cultures, seeking something other than their stayed Old World customs. The Trader was there to satisfy those new appetites. (Sven Kirsten)
Nowadays the Trader Vic’s in Munich (opened 1971), and the one in Tokyo (opened 1974), can be seen as the oldest best preserved Polynesian restaurants in the world, and we are more than happy, that we have the opportunity, to share there an evening with you.
