Join ACO Katie at the Andover Police Department for an evening learning all about tracking our local wildlife; Presented by Mass Audubon!“Tracking seeks to unravel the mysteries of what animals do when we're not around. Tracking and animal sign observation are invaluable tools for learning about the habits of elusive wildlife including nocturnal mammals and birds. People track wildlife for many personal and professional reasons. There are a broad array of animal clues or sign that we can study and interpret from tracks and scat to homes and signs of feeding. In winter in particular, identifying animal activity using track types and patterns can provide a clear window into which animals share the places we live.”
This is a free event and no prior registration is required.
This event will be held in the training room at the Andover Police Department (inside the main doors and to the right, follow signage)- parking can be found on North Main street and in the lot on Pearson Street by the library.
Please plan to arrive a few minutes early to allow for time to park and get settled before our presenter begins.
We look forward to seeing you there!
