1) Dangertown
Dangertown was the name of Brooklyn’s Greenpoint area around the year 1900, and the name of the New York-based duo of Dafna Naphtali and Hans Tammen. In their active collaboration since 1998, the duo probes and playfully undermines the elements of their technical and aesthetic practices, using a variety of noise makers, oscillators and other machines - all along the route paying homage (in a twirl of the radio dial) to ambient music, electronica, music concrete, free jazz and improvised music, as well as all manner of non-Western musics.

2) Eye_Duh Kho
Originally from Tehran, Iran, Aida (written Aida but read Eye-duh) Khorsandi is a musician, researcher and music educator currently pursuing her doctoral studies at York University. Her research intersects between instrument design, interactivity, physical and sonic gestures and haptic engagements in sound making. She is interested in anything about sound and beyond. Aida enjoys listening to soundscapes while walking and biking. Aida’s philosophy to musicking is based on experimentation, welcoming chaos and randomness, unlearning hierarchies and ear training in musical practices, and decolonizing sounds and musics. She likes displaced sound objects, repetitive sounds, erratic sounds, and ever-shifting sounds. Aida uses found objects, samples, Max MSP and Ableton and modular synthesizers as her musicking tools.

Let's be careful and considerate in the performance space! Please consider wearing a mask when not performing/imbibing.
