It’s time to launch your TPT success story! Join us at TPT Live in Seattle on January 24.
TPT Live is a half-day, hands-on workshop for Teacher-Authors where you’ll learn foundational best practices for building your TPT store and maximizing the tools available in your Seller account. Are you fairly early in your TPT journey and looking to grow your emerging business? This event is for you! At the workshop, you’ll get practical strategies for success and walk away feeling confident and ready to unlock your store’s full potential.
What to expect
We’ll start the day hearing from Hilary and Sabrina, two experienced Teacher-Authors behind . Hilary is also the seller behind by Hilary Lewis. With 34 years of teaching experience, she creates fun, interactive resources and has been a TPT seller since 2011, with over 580 top-rated resources.
Sabrina launched her own store,, in 2012 and now offers more than 670 highly rated, engaging art resources. Together, Hilary and Sabrina bring a wealth of experience and are excited to share their TPT journey and the valuable insights they’ve gained as Teacher-Authors.
Then, Team TPT will walk through actionable strategies for success, including:
- The essential components of quality, in-demand resources
- How to set up a storefront that showcases your amazing work
- Tips for maximizing your product listings
- How to use data from your Seller Dashboard to drive growth
- Where to find TPT Seller resources and ongoing support
- And more!
We’ll also provide dedicated time to network and collaborate with your fellow Teacher-Authors over lunch.
Who is this event for?
This event will cover beginner and early-intermediate topics, so it’s best suited for Teacher-Authors with developing stores. Maybe you recently created a Seller account, but you’re not sure where to start when it comes to listing your resources. Or perhaps you’re making steady sales, but want to know how to take your business to the next stage. If this sounds like you, we hope you’ll join us! Otherwise, we invite Teacher-Authors of all levels of experience to join us at our annual conference, TPT Forward.
Do I need a Seller account to attend?
A Seller account is not required to attend TPT Live. If you’re interested in starting a TPT store, this event is perfect for you! If you do find you’d like to create a Seller account before the event, you can find steps to do so here.
How is TPT Live different from TPT Forward?
TPT Live is a half-day workshop that’s best suited for Teacher-Authors who are somewhat early in their TPT journeys. During the workshop, a member of Team TPT will share the foundational elements of a successful TPT store and advice for maximizing all the tools available in your Seller account. It’s a much more intimate event than our annual conference. This smaller size allows us to provide individualized attention at TPT Live.
TPT Forward, on the other hand, is our biggest event of the year, and it takes place over three days. It’s suited to Teacher-Authors of all levels, and hundreds of Sellers in the community attend. Each day you can choose which Seller-led sessions you’d like to attend, so you can take a deep dive into the topics that are most important to you. Example topics covered include social media marketing, building an email list, creating efficient workflows, leveraging the latest apps and tools, unlocking insights from data, and more. You’ll also get to experience the inspirational Keynote and Seller Stories, networking opportunities, and fun social events.
Important notes:
- Lunch is on us! We’ll also provide coffee to fuel your day. We will make efforts to accommodate common dietary restrictions. If you have specific or unique dietary requirements, feel free to bring your own lunch!
- This event is highly interactive and will have a limited number of participants so we can provide the best experience to each attendee.
- Please bring your laptop in order to follow along and participate in the activities during TPT Live.
- Hilton parking rates are $35 for 2–4 hours, $45 for 4–8 hours, and $54 for 8+ hours. Flat-rate parking is also available nearby, such as Xpress Parking on West Wabash Street.
