OUR TOWN FESTIVAL FINALE & another of our Comfort Zone sessions in partnership with Launchpad, explore new music - this time with afro beats/hip hop also part of Town Festival.
DN0:
We are DN0, a duo from Doncaster focusing on getting our listeners moving. We mix singing and rapping in all of our music, bringing together Dance, Rap, R&B and Garage. We love to get the crowd on a two-step vibe and use our music to promote positive messages about relationships, life and personal growth.
Having been played on BBC Radio Sheffield and radio stations in Junior's native country of Uganda, they have also performed together at Tramlines, The Leadmill and some smaller local venues. They are now looking to build on what they have done, while they grow their already established arts organisation, GSD. Where they Get S*** Done.
Neo 21:
Neo 21 is a UK-based Afrofusion artist merging melodic rap, Afrobeats, and Hip-Hop into a sound that is as emotionally rich as it is rhythmically fresh. Currently based in Bradford,
Neo’s music draws from his Nigerian heritage and UK upbringing, resulting in a style that blends smooth vocal delivery, heartfelt storytelling, and modern production—positioning him as one of the most exciting emerging voices in the North of England.
His artistry is rooted in duality: vulnerability meets confidence, tradition meets innovation, and soulful melodies meet hard-hitting beats. Neo’s lyrics explore themes of love, ambition,
identity, and resilience—speaking directly to the hearts of dreamers, romantics, and boundary-pushers. His work has been compared to a hybrid of Wizkid’s cultural finesse,
Kendrick Lamar’s narrative depth, and the melodic bounce of artists like Gunna.
