Carthage Water & Electric Plant (CWEP), is hosting our annual 5k & 1-mile fun run/walk, in honor of 💧 Drinking Water Week (May 3rd-9th)💧 This is an important week set aside each year to help bring awareness to the Carthage community of the benefits of tap water, that a safe, reliable water supply is critical to the success of any community. This week gives a unique opportunity for both water professionals and the communities they serve to join together in recognizing the vital role water plays in our daily lives. We always look forward to celebrating this week with our Carthage community and can't wait to race you to the finish line!💰𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘 𝗗𝗢 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗙𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗦 𝗚𝗢?
All proceeds from the Tower 2 Tower Run will be directly support CWEP's NEW Customer Assistance Program. This local program helps CWEP customers experiencing temporary financial hardship maintain access to essential utility services. Your participation helps neighbors stay connected and strengthens our Carthage community!
🏃♂️𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗦𝗘
The course will start at the South CWEP Water Tower, on George E. Phelps Blvd., and takes you down past the historic Main St. Water Tower then back around to a fun finish at the South Water Tower. We hope you’ll join us in celebrating!
🗓𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗗𝗘𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗦 & 𝗣𝗔𝗖𝗞𝗘𝗧 𝗣𝗜𝗖𝗞𝗨𝗣
Packet pick up will take place at the CWEP tent at Food Truck Friday in Carthage Central Park, Friday, May 8th from 4pm-8pm. You can also pick up your packet on race day morning at the registration tent. Registration is open until 7:50am of race day.

Arrive at the parking lot just West of the South Water Tower (826 E George E Phelps Blvd.) to check-in. Events will begin promptly at 8am.
