About this Event
There are three pioneering Sheffield-Simplex cars remaining in existence – you can see two of them at Kelham Island Museum. Now over 100 years old, they were described at the time by The Times as ‘one of the best and most remarkable vehicles available, representing the highest point to which motor design has yet attained’.
In this interactive tour, Head of Historic Engineering, Eddy Foster, will take you into the workshop and share his experiences of driving the Sheffield-Simplex cars and explain how the Historic Engineering team restore and maintain them.
