Q. Where do we start?
A. Your home, the coffee shop, work, park, wherever you like! There will be no central starting point, time or pre-defined routes this year. Choose your route, pick a place, meet up with family and friends and get rolling!
Q. When do we start?
A. Whenever you like! Just be aware of the hours the breweries you 've chosen to visit are open before heading out.
Q. Do I need to register to ride?
A. No! Anyone can participate, but only registered riders will get a stamp card and be eligible for swag and discounts.
Q. Is this event 21+ only?
A. No! Anyone can ride, but only adults 21+ may register and many establishments are 21+ so minors may not be allowed in.
SCION CIDER BAR IS 21+ only.
Q. Will there be support if something happens while I ride?
A. No! Each participant is responsible for their own safety and should have everything they need on them to respond to any issues like inclement weather, flat tires, broken bikes, injuries, etc... However! Each participating brewery may have bike repair tools on hand or be partnering with a bike shop to provide neutral support.
Q. Is this a race?
A. Absolutely not. You're only competing with yourself to hit as many breweries as you can. Be safe. Ride smart. Keep the rubber side down. And Have Fun!!
Q. Where/when do we take our stamped cards when we're done?
A. To your favorite brewery! Or one you didn't make it to. Each participating brewery will be offering some sort of swag or deep discount in exchange for your completed card (5 different stamps). You'll have a week to turn in your card. (Pro-Tip: finish your ride at the brewery you want to collect your swag from)
Q. Are there pre-defined routes?
A. No! Not this year. Pick the breweries you want to visit from the list of participating breweries on your stamp card and then use an app like Google Maps or Waze to build your route. (Pro-Tip: pick breweries a little off the beaten path or farther away to visit first to beat the crowds)
Q. Do I need to ride a bike to participate?
A. No. take a train, plane, automobile, motorcycle, unicycle, whatever you like. This is designed to get people out together and riding, but we understand that isn't always possible, so travel however you like, just have fun doing it!
Q. Do I have to buy a beer at each stop?
A. No! No purchase is necessary to get stamped, but we kindly ask that you consider buying something at each stop. Shop local and support your local craft breweries!
