About this Event
Pasadena is known, in part, for its alleys - especially in Old Pasadena. But there are many other alleys to explore! Take the paths less travelled through 13 alleys across Pasadena. Along the way, we’ll stop for a cold treat.
We’ll roll out from the alley named for a pop culture hit, round city hall, and along the Union street protected bike lane before we take a turn toward residential roads. We’ll wiggle through North Pasadena’s quiet alleys on our way to the treasure that is Carmela Ice Cream. We’ll roll out and continue through a winding path of suburban alleyways on our way to Jefferson Park. From there, we’ll ride through the beautiful Pasadena Community College and Caltech campuses. As we return to Old Pasadena, we’ll ride through a couple more lively alleys before culminating at an alleyway art installation.
Meet in Big Bang Theory Way at the north end, across the street from the Memorial Park Metro station.
What Is Needed for the Ride

- Water and snacks for the ride.
- Sunblock or clothing to protect you from the sun.
- A spare tube that fits the size of your tires.
Parking
We encourage you to ride to the event start location or take Metro to the Memorial Park Station, across the street from the start. If you are driving, there is paid parking at the structure on Holly and Arroyo Parkway. The street parking in the area is usually time limited to two hours.
