About this Event
Art can translate complex conversations about health, sexuality and identity into shared experiences. This initiative bridges the worlds of community health and creative practice, building collective insight into how our identities shape our well-being.
Our current social and political climate has positioned masculinity as something that is weaponized, policed or feared and gender expressions as something to be contained, corrected or erased. But queerness offers a way of seeing masculinity as tender, creative, fluid — something that can hold care instead of control, vulnerability instead of violence.
Our community is exhausted, and fighting to hold onto joy. We need spaces that remind us of who we are beyond fear. This event offers that space where we can see our stories reflected, our bodies celebrated, and our possibilities reimagined.
