🚧🎉 Get Ready for Touch a Truck! 🎉🚧National Public Works Week is May 17 to 23, 2026, and the City of Ferndale Public Works Department is kicking off the celebration a little early!
Join us for our annual Touch a Truck event on Wednesday, May 13, from 1 PM to 4 PM at Pioneer Park (2004 Cherry Street). We chose this date to coincide with Ferndale Public Schools early release so kids and families can join in on the fun!
Come explore the exciting world of public works by getting up close and even climbing inside some of the amazing equipment our crews use every day. Check out dump trucks, backhoes, street sweepers, and more while learning how our team helps keep Ferndale running smoothly.
Bring the whole family and celebrate the people and tools that build, maintain, and serve our community. We can’t wait to see you there!
