Pediatric Dentistry of Florida on behalf of Dr. Tim Verwest, DMD & associates is hosting its annual family-friendly Touch-a-Truck event on April 25th from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. 8016 Summerlin Lakes Drive, Fort Myers, Florida 33907. This interactive experience is geared towards reducing the number of injuries and fatalities due to children approaching large work vehicles in the community. Touch-a-Truck is a hands-on experience where children will be able to learn about their favorite trucks and vehicles plus interact with the professionals who drive them. Featured vehicles will include emergency service, law enforcement, public service, and local commercial businesses. Families can enjoy a variety of fun activities for kids, plus food and drinks available for purchase throughout the event. Please bring canned food donations benefiting Harry Chapin Food Bank.
There will be a special horn-free hour from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. for children with special needs and sensitive ears. Admission to Touch-a-Truck is free for children ages 12 and under, with a $5 admission for adults. The event will be held at our pediatric dental office.
