Join Our Tote Bag Workshop!
In this class we will construct a tote bag together. It is a good size for an every day tote bag and will be fully lined. The class will last about an hour and a half.
In order to take this class, you need to have some basic knowledge of using a sewing machine. It is a beginner friendly project that is all straight line sewing.
You can bring your own sewing machine to class or rent one for an additional fee. To rent, you will add that on when you are signing up for the class. You are required to bring your own supplies.
Supplies needed:
-1/2 yard of fabric for the outside (quilting cotton or canvas)
-1/2 yard of fabric for the lining (quilting cotton)
-1 1/4 yard of webbing for the straps, 1.5 inches wide (cotton or polyester, but my personal favorite is cotton)
-Coordinating thread
I will provide some sewing basics like scissors/rulers/pins, but if you have specific tools you like to use like fabric pens, chalk, extra needles, pins etc bring them too.
