What: Annual Charity Football MatchWhen: 12000hrs, Sunday 17th August 2025
Where: Newent Town Football Club
Why: All money raised will be donated to charity. The charity this year will be split between The Sue Ryder Hospice Leckhampton Court Hospice, Gloucestershire's only inpatient unit for specialist palliative care, (who cared for Ian "Tosser" Berry) and a charity close to former Newent Falcon Skipper Paul "Willy" Wilband who sadly passed away this year, the charity will be chosen by Willys family. So lets do it for Tosser and Willy and make them proud!
Who: Newent Falcons FC vs Ian Berrys "Tossers"
The game is open to everyone, if you would like to play then please let Jimmer or Dave know either in person, private message or comment below.
After the game we will be using the wonderful facilities at Newent Town Football Club where we will hold a raffle, bingo, auction and the now infamous boat race. The children can also play and kick footballs until the cows come home outside on the pitch.
