Highlands & Islands Skills CIC is hosting two community engagement events to discuss the proposed National Infrastructure Skills Centre at Torvean Quarry, Inverness.The ambition is to create a national facility that supports the workforce needed for the next generation of infrastructure and energy projects across the Highlands & Islands and Scotland.
These events are an opportunity for our community to see the vision for the site and help shape how it develops so that we maximise the value it delivers locally.
At these sessions you will be able to:
• View the proposed development plans
• Learn about the ambition to build and train a lasting legacy of skilled workers in the Highlands & Islands
• Share ideas on how the site and development could deliver wider community value
Local residents, businesses and industry professionals are all welcome.
