The Western Swamp Tortoise is the most endangered reptile in Australia, with less than 50 adult tortoises living in the wild. It was believed they were actually extinct until they were rediscovered in 1953! ?
These little guys need our help now and that is why 100% of the profit from this event will be donated to The Friends of the Western Swamp Tortoise, an organisation that is dedicated to the rehabilitation and recovery of this species❣️?
Dr Nicki Mitchell will be giving a special talk about her work with the Western Swamp Tortoise and the conservation efforts to protect these endangered animals!
