Tormach XSTech Mini Mill Basic Training and Authorization

This class is an introduction to CNC milling using our Tormach xsTech desktop milling machine.

It’s designed for beginners to learn the fundamentals of CNC machining and become confident and independent in operating this machine. The class covers the basics and emphasizes simple, conversational workflows. More advanced topics—such as CAD/CAM and tools like VCarve or Fusion 360—are intentionally left for follow-up classes. The goal is to help you build a solid foundation so you can comfortably run the xsTech and be prepared to explore more complex skills later.

If you're interested in diving deeper into CNC machining, including CAD/CAM and larger machines like our Tormach PCNC-1100, this class is a great starting point for your journey.

This class is primarily intended for MakeIt Labs members. Non-members are welcome to attend, but they will not be able to use the machine afterward.

Refunds are available only up until 8 days prior to start of the class, (minus Eventbrite fee). No-shows, or cancelations the day-of the event will be prohibited from taking the class within the following 3 months.
