About this Event

Please join us to hear 16 year old student, Melody Dalili, describe life in high school when homeless.  You are invited to come to First United Methodist Church , Oak Ridge, on November 16th at 11:30 (masked) for a 30 minute presentation including a question and answer period over your lunch break.  As you leave you will be given a box lunch to take with you.

We had hoped for better but, due to the Delta Variant of COVID-19 and the need for an abundance of caution, TORCH has chosen not to bring a large group of people to have lunch together. In 2021 the TORCH Bearer luncheon will be a hybrid event. You can attend via live stream if you are unable to attend in person.

We are only able to seat 80 individuals safely. You will be notified within one day of registration if you have a seat. If you are unable to attend in person, you can register to live stream the event or wait for the recording to appear on our website.
