Tops Bretonside is part of one of the South's largest award winning family of day nurseries, Tops Day Nurseries, offering flexible childcare for children aged between 3 months -school age. Tops Bretonside can also accept up to 30 funded hours for 2, 3 and 4 year olds.
Our Bretonside nursery is set in grade II listed terrace row, with some original features inside dating back to the 1800’s.
The nursery has a homely feel to allow easy transitions for children moving between the baby, toddler and preschool rooms, with a number of exciting resources readily available for them to investigate.
Children have the opportunity to explore nature through the well-utilised garden and mud kitchen. The recently revamped rooms in the nursery are constantly changing based on the children’s interests.
In addition to offering extended opening hours of 6am-8pm* we offer flexible childcare to the nearest 15 minutes, meaning you really do only pay for the hours you need. This is just one of the factors that makes us different to most other nurseries across Plymouth.
This nursery is part of a group that provides the most eco-sustainable childcare and education in the UK, being respectful of the environment and acting to reduce, re-use and recycle resources is an important part of the culture and routine for the children and staff.
