TOPIQUE: A FORUM FOR THE EXCHANGE OF KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND FORWARD-THINKING IDEAS AT PIQUETopique returns this summer with artist talks, panel discussions, screenings, demonstrations, and networking opportunities, spanning two days on June 12-13. Building on the Pique ethos of experimentation and inclusivity, Topique invites curious festival-goers to step into the conversation.
This summer’s program features six sessions led by international and Canadian artists and artistic leaders, covering topics that push the cultural sector forward, including:
-Navigating international touring
-Anti-oppressive curation
-Sustaining artist-led ecosystems
-Sonic resistance and solidarity
-Decolonial instrument building and sound design
-Global sound system cultures

Admission to all Topique sessions is pay-what-you-can, with tickets available online and at the door. Each session is subject to the capacity of the venue it is held in, and a pass does not guarantee admission or a seat in all sessions. Please plan to arrive early to ensure admission.
