FIND US: Look for a furry animal toy on the table in The Hub at Adelaide University. We will probably be at a table to the right as you walk in. If you can’t find us, ring Thor on 0479 154 831.

HINT: Before the meetup go to Youtube and type a query: “How to make a podcast”. This will give you some ideas.

TALKING POINTS

1. What podcast topics interest you? Choose a podcast topic. Explain why you think this topic would appeal to an audience.

2. Now you are actually streaming a podcast. Introduce your special guest. Briefly explain what the topic is about.

3. The guest explains why they have an interest and background in the topic.

4. The host dives into the main topic of the podcast and asks the guest a background question about this day's topic.

5. [From here the guest does most of the talking]. The guest answers the host's question, then narrows down to some special points

6. The guest goes through his/her points one by one.

7. From time to time the host interjects to ask for examples, or to make something clear.

8. Imagine this is a livestream. Some listener sends in a question about the topic. What is a question they might ask?

9. The host makes a comment about the listener's question.

10. The guest tries to answer the listener's question.
