TOP OF THE POP QUEERS!
FPQ is Amsterdam's oldest and most renowned pop party, created by ULTRASEXI.
It dates back to 2006 when it took place on Wednesdays at STUDIO80.
From 2009 to 2013, it became a monthly event every second Saturday at Jimmy Woo.
In 2011, FPQ expanded to FPQXL. Our beloved venue, Paradiso, hosts the party several times a year. The Queer & Pride party, held on the first Saturday of August, stands out as a pinnacle event during the Pride season.
The main purpose of FPQ is escapism. We blend in the latest popular tracks alongside classic hits, creating an electrifying mix of old favorites and fresh tunes. We believe that there is no guilt to any pleasure, so we also include a lot of “guilty pleasure” songs.
This time we bring homage to the classic pop TV shows.
