This is a Charity Benefit Road Bike Race supporting local charity, One Chair at a Time. The Race is on Saturday April 25th, 2026, beginning at 8am. There are 10-, 20-, 37-and 59-mile distance races and each specifically is designed to showcase the historic landmarks of Amarillo. The route is designed to show the major landmarks in Amarillo. These include The Big Texan, Slug Bug Ranch, AQHA, the Barrio Neighborhood, Hodge Town, New City Hall, Centennial Plaza, The Amarillo Police Department, Route 66, Amarillo Country Club, John Ward Memorial Park (AKA Medi Park), the Don Harrington Discovery Center, Amarillo Botanical Gardens, the old Helium Plant, the Wind Farms, Cadillac Ranch, the Historical Wolflin Neighborhood, Amarillo College, the Downtown Church District, Chamber of Commerce building, Polk St, Historical Potter County Courthouse, and the new Potter County Court House.
There will be SAG wagons, rest stops, and plenty of water. Riders are required to wear a helmet. Riders under age 10 are free if accompanied by a registered adult guardian. The race will happen rain or shine, NO REFUNDS.
There will be CASH prizes for the men and women's 59 mile race. 1st-$200, 2nd-$100, 3rd-$50.
