About this Event
Tools 201: Advanced Tools is a hands-on, small-group workshop where you'll go beyond the basics and start making powerful tools like the table saw work for you. With only 6 spots available, you'll get real face time with your instructor, plenty of time with tools, and the kind of practical knowledge that actually sticks.
Over four hours, you'll learn:
- Safe setup and operation techniques that experienced woodworkers rely on
- How to make precise rip cuts, crosscuts, and angled cuts with confidence
- Tricks of the trade how to troubleshoot common problems
- Utilize tools such as the table saw, jointer, and chop saw among others
This workshop is optional to take as a one part or two series and you can build a small single class object or tackle a larger two part project:
Single Class Builds: Bench / Tool Box*
Two Class Build: Cutting Board / Small Bookcase
About The Instructor:
With over 20 years of experience putting tools in people's hands, Mike Wegner is the kind of instructor who meets you where you're at and ensures that you'll walk away ready to tackle projects they wouldn't have attempted before.
