Too Much Good Taste- Clothing Swap

Hello and thank you for registering for the Too Much Good Taste Clothing Swap!

We’re excited to create a fun, stylish, and sustainable experience for everyone involved. This event is all about quality over quantity—bring your best and leave with fabulous new finds! For this clothing swap we will be focusing on femme clothing of all sizes.

📍 Location: 2301 E Union

To keep things fair and exciting, we will be using a ticket-based system for swapping.

1. Bring Your Clothes in Advance
2. We ask that all participants drop off their clothing between March 18th and March 22nd at The Resole 206.
3. Deadline for drop-off: Saturday, March 22nd. This ensures we can sort everything before the swap.
4. IMPORTANT: Please label your bag with your name and phone number to ensure we track contributions properly.

A team of volunteers will assess the quality and category of each item you bring. You will receive tickets based on the type and condition of your clothing (e.g., a blazer may be worth more than a t-shirt).These tickets act as your currency for shopping at the event and can be picked up at the door upon arrival.

• Please bring only clean, gently used, or new clothing items. No damaged, stained, or overly worn pieces. We will be accepting all seasons of clothing.
• Shoes and accessories (hats, belts, scarves, etc.) are welcome!
• All sizes are encouraged. Please be aware this is a body-positive space—no negative self-talk or comments about others, please and thank you.
• The more people who register, the more fabulous options we’ll all have so feel free to share with your communities.
• Last hour open to all - $5 entry for anyone who didn’t bring clothes but still want to shop! You can pay at the door

12:00 PM – 1 PM | Check-in, Window Shopping & Try On

• Pick up your tickets and take a look at what’s available before the swap officially begins

1 PM | First Round – 1 Pick Per Person

• Everyone gets to choose one item from the collection.

1:30 PM | Second Round – 2 Picks Per Person

• Those with remaining tickets can now pick two additional items.

2:00 PM | Third Round – 3 Picks Per Person

• More tickets = more choices! Grab up to three more items.

2:30 PM – 3PM | The Best Of The Rest

• Those who still have tickets get first choice at the remaining clothes

3:00 PM - 4:00 PM | Free-for-All & Open Swap

• Any remaining items are now available to all participants.

Each item you bring will be assessed based on type, brand, and quality and will earn you 1 to 3 tickets accordingly.

🟢 1 Ticket – Everyday Basics

• T-Shirts, tank tops, casual tops
• Leggings, basic skirts, cotton dresses
• Lightweight sweaters & cardigans
• Casual accessories (hats, scarves, belts)

🔵 2 Tickets – Elevated & Trendy Pieces

• Button-down shirts, blouses, structured tops
• Jeans, tailored pants, stylish skirts
• Midi & maxi dresses, jumpsuits
• Outerwear (light jackets, trendy coats)
• Footwear (gently worn sneakers, flats, sandals)
• Statement accessories (designer belts, unique jewelry)

🔴 3 Tickets – Premium & Designer Items

• Blazers, wool coats, high-end outerwear
• High-quality or designer dresses
• Leather goods (jackets, handbags, premium belts)
• Premium footwear (heels, boots, luxury sneakers)
• Unique vintage or sought-after brands

For high-end designer and luxury pieces (think Gucci, Prada, Chanel, high-end vintage, etc.), we will have a separate shopping space.

• Only those who contributed luxury items will receive special Luxury Tickets (💎) to shop in this section.
• These exclusive items will not be available in the general swap area.
• Luxury tickets will be allocated based on the number and value of the items contributed.
