Touring live looping performer Tony Williams will shred the stage for Sickie's Bike Night in Rapid City on Wednesday 8/20. His unique, extensive looping style of building songs up live creates a really engaging show, sounding like a full band. Ride into Sickies every Wednesday evening for family-friendly motorcycle fun, burgers, and music. More about Tony Williams - After years of headlining rock and country shows and festivals opening up for some of the greatest acts in history in previous bands (supporting Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, Tim McGraw, Jake Owen, Marilyn Manson, etc), Tony Williams recently began a journey focusing on writing, producing, and performing as a solo artist. His engaging live performance incorporates an abundance of looping, quickly layering the separate instrumental elements together on the fly (nothing prerecorded) to sound like a full band. This creates a uniquely engaging show for any audience. Williams recently kicked things off before Creed's Summer of '99 tour with 3 Doors Down, and shared his own songs in direct support of Andy Grammer and rock radio legend Eddie Trunk. Other past performance opportunities have brought him back and forth across the states, Canada, Mexico, over to Europe, and even to the Middle East twice. He has also performed extensively during the Sturgis Bike Rally over five different years.
His debut solo EP “Destined To Be Real” was released in 2012 showcasing his soaring voice, multi-instrumental abilities, and keen songwriting, while his newest solo offering is now ready for release in 2025, a full-length appropriately entitled “Aestivation”. The final mixes are a blend of driving rock and indie/electronic with a notable drizzle of new wave and progressive influences; these new songs feature huge, melodic choruses that leave your head nodding, and revealingly honest lyrics that leave your heart aching.
